Common Questions:

Approximately how much will a mosaic or warm glass piece cost? ~ Below are the basic criteria that determine cost of each project.

1) Overall size (determined by square foot)
2) Interior or exterior
3) Application (architectural embellishments, wall mural or panel, floor insert, column, lighting, counter-top, back splash, bathroom, signage, tables, furniture, garden accents, fountains, pools, sculpture, etc.)
4) Materials * (iridescent /dicro glass, handmade Italian smalti and golds, vitreous and other glass tile, porcelain, ceramic, gemstone, marble, etc.)
5) Complexity of the design
6) Format: freehand creation or from your photo or design
7) Size of tiles/glass and hand cutting **
8) Geographical location (local or out-of-state) shipping
9) Installation
10) Schedule

Approximant - Pricing per sq ft. - The range in price is to accomodate the detail of the work and variation in material used .

1”+ - 1/2” pieces: $200 - $600 per/sq ft. plain design - some detail
1/2"- 1/4" pieces: $600- $800 per/sq ft. detailed/intricate design
1/4” –1/8” pieces: $800-$1000 per/sq ft. very detailed; faces, hair, lots of color blending, very intricate

*Artwork using handmade glass will be priced higher!
** A mosaic using 3/8" size tiles will cost more than one the same size using 3/4" or larger tiles due to the amount of time spent cutting and the detail work.

Please allow about 4-8 weeks for completion for most pieces. Work with a lot of detail may take 8-12 weeks.
Please, inquire about time for your particular project.

Contract Agreement: A written contract is required for all projects.
Deposit: A 25% - 50% deposit is required for all projects.
Payment: A client will pay the remaining amount of the agreed sum promptly after the completion of the project.
For projects that will be shipped, payment must be received prior to shipping.
Note: shipping and packaging costs are not included in the price of the mosaic and will be billed separately.
